Question for you

I have a question for you - I showed some jewelry in my last two posts. One showed these super simple quick and dirty earrings (that I like, ok, but they are not special to me). And the one before showed this (in my mind) really really cool bracelet, that features one of Kelley Wenzel's Egg beads.

The bracelet post has 4 comments, and the earring post has 8 comments. Now here is my question to you: Do you like the earrings better or did you just miss the bracelet post because I posted them one right after the other?

I know this will probably always stay a mystery. But if you can clear this up, I'd be glad to hear your thoughts.

Sometimes I think it's just a matter of what comes up in a person's blog reader first. I use Google Reader and I've missed three days of blogs and I have over 200 posts to catch up on. Sometimes if a blog has three or four entries, I hit the most recent. Bad of me, I know.

I like the bracelet the best, to answer your question, but both are lovely!

Hi Nicki, I like both but also prefer the bracelet - I love that egg bead! I think sometimes it is easier for people to comment on a simple piece of jewellery post rather than your heartfelt post featuring your bracelet. Sometimes people don't know what to say, especially if they are not frequent commenters. You can feel uncomfortable saying 'I like your bracelet' but not saying anything about the more serious part of your post. Those are my thoughts anyway! How are you doing? Hope things are looking up for you.

I think there is a lot of truth to what Lori said..that sometimes when we try and "catch up" on the blogs we follow, we don't always read all of the previous posts....so the number of comments may not have been an accurate indication of which piece of jewelry was more popular. I liked them both for different reasons!

Personally I like the bracelet more. I really like the egg bead and with all the small light blue beads on both sides, it brings it all together.

I see this as a piece that would strike up many a conversation on how interesting it looks and probably where they got it from.

Now I think I will have to come up with a WOW piece as well.

I didn't have a chance to comment on either post before this one but thought I'd let you know that I like the earrings but LOVE the bracelet :) I too have Google reader and I have around 200 entries to read daily and I get lazy! *slaps wrist*

I am behind on reading blogs and I am just taking time before I headed home to stop at some blogs. I love the bracelet and how all the components work together, it just plain works. The earrings are also really nice, but I do have to say I like what you did with the bracelet, awesome!
